Work Dinner

Love the atmosphere. My boss ordered a drink while standing outside the bar area. The bar tender walked around and poured his drink right there. No problem with service. Was very happy with my petite steak and creamed spinach. I thought the spinach was one of the best I ever had. I appreicate the sides are individual portions. Makes it easier in a large group. Then I tried the gelato blackout cake. Amazing. I would definitely go back.

A awesome Steakhouse

My niece & nephew from out of town had been to Jake’s in the Bronx & insisted that we must go as he could not stop talking about it. Since we live on Long Island they were delighted that one was closer. Everyone was very nice and warm down to the waitstaff. It is a place that I would recommend.I had the short ribs of beef and it was very tender along with the mash potatoes and broccoli. My nephew had the petite steak and shrimp for apetizer. He enoyed it as much as the one in the Bronx. The dining area was nice & cozy. We had early dining – 5:30pm – there was only a few customers when we arrived but by the time we were leaving people was waiting & that say something for the service and food.

The whole meal from start to finish was exquisite! First, we had the spinach salad with fresh slices of strawberries, walnuts and fried goat cheese. AMAZING! Next for dinner, we ordered twin lobster tails, surf and turf, and pork chops with apples. The lobsters were cooked to perfection. The filet mignon was moist and full of flavor. The irk chops with the apples was a nice balance of sweet and savory. As for the sides, we chose the garlic mashed potatoes and the grilled Brussels sprouts with bacon. Both were good compliments to the rest of the meal. After dinner, we had cappuccinos and Irish coffees. Both were bold in flavor and piping hot. Both our waiter as well as our busboy were attentive but not overwhelming. A great night and an awesome meal! We will be back!
